Welcome to the VENTEDSTEAM website.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and the purchase of products supplied by VENTEDSTEAM. By accessing this website or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use this website or purchase products from VENTEDSTEAM.

About VENTEDSTEAM
VENTEDSTEAM is a New Zealand-owned business supplying professional engineering tools, industrial equipment and related products to customers in New Zealand, Australia and selected international markets.

Orders and Acceptance
Submitting an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase goods.
No order is binding on VENTEDSTEAM until payment has been received (where applicable) and the order has been accepted for dispatch. VENTEDSTEAM reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, cancel or amend any order, including where:

• products are unavailable;
• pricing or product information is incorrect;
• payment cannot be authorized or verified;
• fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected; or
• the order otherwise breaches these Terms.

Where an order is cancelled after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued using the original payment method.

Pricing
All prices displayed on this website are subject to change without notice.
The pricing of tungsten carbide products is directly influenced by international tungsten carbide market prices, supplier costs and currency exchange rates at the time of purchase. Product prices may therefore increase or decrease without prior notice.
While every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occur due to supplier updates, exchange rate fluctuations, software faults or typographical errors.
If a pricing error is identified before dispatch, VENTEDSTEAM reserves the right to:

• cancel the order and issue a full refund; or
• offer the customer the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price.

VENTEDSTEAM is under no obligation to supply goods at an incorrect or unintended price.

Product Information
VENTEDSTEAM endeavours to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images and technical information are accurate. However:

• product specifications may change without notice;
• manufacturers may alter designs, coatings, packaging or branding;
• colours and finishes may vary between production batches;
• Images are provided for illustration purposes only.

Customers are responsible for verifying that products are suitable for their intended application before placing an order.

Any technical information, product recommendations, specifications, machining guidance, application advice or other technical assistance provided by VENTEDSTEAM is supplied for general reference purposes only. Technical information may include, but is not limited to, product selection advice, machining parameters, tooling recommendations, operating guidance, compatibility information and application suggestions. Customers remain responsible for independently verifying product suitability, dimensions, compatibility, operating conditions, machine capability and application requirements before purchase or use. While reasonable care is taken to provide accurate information, VENTEDSTEAM does not warrant that technical information is complete, error-free or suitable for every application. Machining conditions, materials, machinery, tooling setups and operating environments vary significantly, and customers should validate recommendations through their own testing and professional judgement.

VENTEDSTEAM accepts no responsibility for damage, loss, injury, production delays or other consequences resulting from reliance on technical advice, incorrect product selection, incorrect machining parameters, improper use or failure to follow manufacturer recommendations. Where products are used in safety-critical, high-risk or specialised applications, customers must independently assess suitability and obtain appropriate professional advice before use.

Professional and Industrial Use
Many products supplied by VENTEDSTEAM are intended for professional engineering, machining and industrial applications. The purchaser is solely responsible for:

• selecting products suitable for the intended application;
• ensuring products are correctly installed and operated;
• complying with all applicable safety standards and manufacturer recommendations.

VENTEDSTEAM accepts no liability for damage, injury or loss resulting from incorrect product selection, misuse, improper installation, modification, inadequate maintenance or operation outside the manufacturer's specifications.

Shipping and Delivery
Products may be dispatched from New Zealand or shipped directly from overseas manufacturing partners. Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.
VENTEDSTEAM is not liable for delivery delays resulting from freight carriers, customs processing, supplier delays, weather events, government action or any circumstance beyond our reasonable control. Additional information regarding freight, transit times and delivery conditions is contained within our Shipping Policy.

Returns and Refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed exclusively by the VENTEDSTEAM Returns & Refund Policy.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted that policy.

Business Purchasers
Where goods are acquired for business purposes, the purchaser agrees that, where permitted by applicable law, the provisions of consumer protection legislation that may legally be contracted out of shall not apply. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand), the Fair Trading Act 1986 (New Zealand), the Australian Consumer Law
or any other applicable legislation.
